Today's ShelbyPODCAST is a bonus edition in rememberance of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. Special guest, Bill Jim Davis, a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander and Pearl Harbor survivor, will share his memories of that day 66 years ago. Bill Jim later went on to serve three terms as Tennessee state senator in the 1970’s and established a veterans’ memorial in Covington, TN. He recently wrote a soon-to-be-published book, Abandon Ship, recounting his adventures. Please join us to hear his eye-witness account of the day that will live in infamy.
